Faisal Arshad is a professional architect based in Islamabad. He established his practice in 2011 ‘FA+P’ focusing mainly on Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Design and Project Management. After graduating from University of Engineering & Technology Lahore in 1998, he worked in well reputed private practices till 2004. He moved to an award winning multidiscipline Malaysian design group TAK working on large scale project in Pakistan before moving to Middle East. He relocated with the group to Middle East in 2004 to work on world’s iconic projects in Dubai & Oman till 2010. Carrying a diverse portfolio experience, he invested his time in academics showcasing the knowledge to the young scholars besides setting up his own practice. He is a regular faculty at Department of Architecture, COMSATS University Islamabad and widely recognized in Pakistan due to his active roles in Practice, Teachings & linkage with the relevant Industry. 

He has been instrumental in the Institute of Architects Pakistan, the recognized voice of architectural fraternity of the country. He has held the office of Honorary Secretary, Vice Chairman & The Chairman of the IAP Rawalpindi/ Islamabad Chapter. He has been instrumental in organizing the building material annual exhibition ‘IAPEX’ for many years and is a well-known name to the building material industry of Pakistan.   

He found his love with Turkey in 2015 and since then he is one of the most sought-after names in Pakistan for anything linked to Turkey. His work portfolio consists of Turkish brand retail showroom designs such as KALE Ceramics & Sanitary, Lineadecor, Enza Home, MOOOI Home, Bien Ceramics & Sanitary, Wintech etc. He has widely toured to Turkey many times for leisure and work, visiting many factories in Istanbul, Bursa, Sakarya, Duzce, Ankara & Kayseri regions. 

He has been the first invited Pakistani Architect to be featured at Turk Serbest Mimarlar Dernegi, Ankara. Cultural & Public Diplomacy is one of his passion and due to his diverse knowledge and profound experiences, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Govt of Pakistan inducted him as Member Cultural Diplomacy Team in 2020 to work under the mentor of Foreign Minister with an objective to boost warmth among friends of Pakistan through culture,  & through a strategic cooperation of industry sponsors.   

He enjoys a cordial relationship with the Turkish Embassy staff in Islamabad and keep in touch with many Turkish nationals working in Pakistan on social level.  

He envisions working on creating environments of cultural exchange, warmth between people to people as a key to all fields of life including commerce & trade. Common values, faith and history can create magic and win-win situations for all stakeholders.
